Overview
The Master of Project Management is a graduate-level program designed to develop the skills, knowledge, and expertise needed to manage complex projects across various industries. The program covers essential topics such as project planning, risk management, budgeting, team leadership, and communication. Students are equipped with the tools required to initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and complete projects successfully. Graduates are prepared to assume leadership roles in project management and can pursue careers in diverse sectors, including construction, engineering, healthcare, IT, and finance.
We align this programme qualification’s to the level descriptors of the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF).
Learning Outcomes
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of project management concepts, processes, and tools as outlined in the PMI syllabus.
- Explain key concepts and tools related to project integration and scope management.
- Discuss the various aspects of project quality management.
- Critically evaluate business and organizational strategies.
Admission Requirements
General Entry
- A related Bachelor’s degree OR
- A related Graduate Diploma at Level 8
Alternative Entry
- 25 years old, completion of a related Level 5 qualification, and 7 years of relevant experience (of which 3.5 years of experience is obtained after completion of a Level 5 qualification), and completion of a Pre-Master’s Program. OR
- 25 years old, completion of a related Level 6 qualification, and 6 years of relevant experience (of which 3 years of experience is obtained after completion of a Level 6 qualification), and completion of a Pre-Master’s Program
