Overview
The Bachelor of Teaching – Primary program prepares future educators to inspire and guide young learners. Focusing on pedagogical techniques, curriculum design, and classroom management, the program helps participants develop the skills needed to teach primary school students effectively. Graduates are equipped to design engaging lessons, foster academic and personal growth, and contribute to the foundational education that shapes children’s lives, nurturing a lifelong love of learning.
We align this programme qualification’s to the level descriptors of the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF).
Learning Outcomes

- Demonstrate a strong understanding of academic writing.
- Describe the role and key characteristics of an effective language teacher.

Admission Requirements
General Entry
- Successful completion of Higher Secondary Education OR
- Attainment of a Level 4 qualification in a related field OR
- Attainment of a Level 4 Foundation Study Program approved for the specific Diploma program.
Alternative Entry
- Completion of a Level 4 qualification (unrelated), and successful completion of a University Preparation Program OR
- 20 years old, completion of secondary school, 2 years of relevant work experience, and successful completion of a University Preparation Program
